Project brief

Have you ever met a Welsh based family run company selling starch globally on the internet? No? Well we have! What a pleasure it was too! This small but thriving company required a clean over haul of their website to improve the marketability and profitability of their site.

How we accomplished the task

By analysing the current sites usage and the most common user journeys we determined which layout would deliver the best results. After sketching out a rough layout for the common templates, we set to work on rebranding the site in conjunction with Steph Kerby (logo design). By introducing a calmer more placid colour palette and keeping the general "look and feel" simple we have been able to produce a friendly approachable website.

One large consideration through out the planning and implementation of the website was Search engine optimisation. Introducing search engine friendly URLs, and tightening up the content with key words and phrases was just two of the many considerations of the whole SEO strategy.
